Uninsured Loss Recovery Coordinator
Location: Bristol
Salary: £16,000 - £19,000
A rare opportunity has arisen to join a successful Insurer as a Motor Claims Handler within their Uninsured Loss Recovery department. Our client is seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual with experience in Negotiating Claims. This is an excellent opportunity for a Motor Claims Handler to advance their careers as our client is providing ongoing training and sponsorship of insurance qualifications.
Responsibilities:
You will need to demonstrate initiative and be confident enough to challenge procedures and work closely with the team leader to improve services
To handle non fault Uninsured Loss Recovery claims on behalf of customers and maximise profit income
To provide technical and administration support to the Accident Management Team
Ensure recovery of Uninsured Losses for customers
Ensure all correspondence with customers and UIL recovery agents and solicitors is carried out promptly
Ensure all invoices for commission are promptly dealt with and processed correctly
Skills:
Experience within the Insurance Industry with a good working knowledge of Uninsured Loss Recovery
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of basic motor legal case law, liability and Motor Insurers Bureau
Experience in carrying out basic claim investigations such as police reports, locus reports and witness statements
