Account Broker
Location: Bristol
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Excellent benefits
As an Account Broker for a reputable national Commercial Brokerage you will be providing support to the Commercial Account Executives in dealing with premier clients. Your day will be varied and duties will include New business, renewal retention and mid term adjustments.
Responsibilities:
Dealing with Commercial clients
Renewal retention and mid term adjustments
Generating new business opportunities from wholesale agency clients
Broking activities for Directors and Sales Managers
Providing advice to clients on placement and risk cover
Present risks to insurers to obtain premium and terms
Occasional client and insurer visits
Skills:
English and Mathematics GCSE or Equivalent
A Level or equivalent would be beneficial
Progression towards ACII / Diploma or equivalent would be beneficial
Previous Commercial Insurance or Broking experience is essential
Good technical understanding of commercial insurance
Excellent interpersonal skills both on the telephone and face to face
